The Compliance Verification Agent checks your product's documentation against applicable regulatory frameworks and tells you where you stand. It reviews everything in your hub, identifies what's met, unmet, or in progress for each requirement, and traces every "met" status back to a specific document in your hub.
What you'll need in your hub
The agent draws all of its evidence from your hub. Before running it, make sure your hub includes as much of the following as is available:
Product specifications
Risk assessments
Test reports
Design documentation
Quality records
Product classification details
The more complete your hub, the more accurate and useful your assessment will be. The agent will flag gaps where documentation is missing or outdated.
Running the Compliance Verification Agent
Step 1: Describe your development stage. Enter the development stage you're currently in — for example, concept, design, pre-launch, or post-market. This helps the agent calibrate what compliance requirements are relevant right now.
Step 2: Describe the purpose of this assessment. Briefly explain why you're running this assessment — for example, preparing for a pre-gate review, getting ahead of a submission, or responding to an audit request.
Step 3: Define your target market and regions. Specify the markets and geographic regions where your product will be sold or used. The agent infers applicable regulatory frameworks from your hub's content and the regions you select, then asks you to confirm which frameworks apply before running.
Step 4: Select regulatory framework. Choose the frameworks you want assessed against. You can select multiple. If a framework relevant to your product isn't listed, contact your Customer Success Manager — additional frameworks can be added.
Step 5: Select compliance domains. Choose the compliance domains to include in the assessment — for example, product safety, environmental requirements, labeling, or quality systems. Select all that apply.
Then run the agent.
Understanding your report
Your report is structured for audit readiness and includes the following sections:
Executive summary A high-level overview of your compliance posture — what's assessed, the overall status, and the most critical findings.
Requirements assessed A full breakdown of every requirement reviewed across each selected framework. For each one, the agent notes:
Status: met, unmet, or in progress
The evidence from your hub that supports a "met" determination, with document-level citations
The specific regulatory source consulted
Critical gaps Requirements that are unmet and represent the highest risk to your development timeline or submission readiness. Addressed in priority order.
Freshness flags Documents in your hub that are more than 90 days old and were used in the assessment. For certain regulations, documentation currency matters — this section highlights where updates may be warranted before a formal submission.
Recommended next steps Specific actions to close the gaps identified, prioritized by impact.
What to add to your hub If you want to rerun the agent after updating your documentation, this section tells you what to add to strengthen your assessment.
Reference standards Every external regulatory and standards source consulted during the assessment, with direct links.
Documents analyzed The full list of hub documents the agent drew on to produce the report. The agent queries your entire hub but pulls only the documents relevant to the frameworks and domains you selected.
Regulatory sources the agent can access
The Compliance Verification Agent only pulls information from a defined whitelist of authoritative regulatory, standards, and government domains. It has no access to the open web.
This whitelist is maintained to ensure the agent never cites unverified third-party sources. All external citations in your report link to one of the domains below.

Frequently asked questions
Why did the agent only analyze some of my hub documents?
The agent queries your entire hub but includes only the documents most relevant to the frameworks and compliance domains you selected. Every document it used is listed in the "Documents analyzed" section of your report.
Can I add a regulatory framework that isn't in the list?
Yes. If you need a framework that isn't currently available, let your Customer Success Manager know and it can most likely be added. Any addition applies to all organizations.
What should I do if a source the agent cites is behind a paywall?
Follow the link in your report, log in using your own credentials, and access the content directly. The agent will note in the report when it encountered a paywall and what it was able to retrieve.
Can I rerun the agent after updating my hub?
Yes, and it's recommended. Use the "What to add to your hub" section of your report as a checklist, upload the relevant documentation, and run the agent again to see how your compliance posture has changed.
