How to Add Knowledge to a Hub

Follow this guide to upload your knowledge resources into a Product Knowledge Hub.

Upload, organize, and share knowledge—faster than ever. In just a few minutes, you'll learn how to:

  1. Upload a Document

  2. Review Metadata

  3. Save Your Knowledge

Step 1: Upload a Document

Adding your resources ensures your Hub grows with relevant, useful knowledge.

  1. Log In to Narratize: app.narratize.com

  2. Select the appropriate Hub

    • Choose from your available Knowledge Hubs.

    • If you haven’t favorited any yet, look under “All Groups and Hubs.”

    💡Pro Tip: ⭐ Star your most-used hubs to keep them at the top of your list for easy access.

  3. Open the Knowledge Panel from your Hub homescreen by Selecting "Knowledge" (Right Sidebar)

  4. Select "Upload File"

    You can upload a document directly from your computer or connect to Google Drive for quick access.

Step 2: Review Metadata

After uploading, Narratize will automatically process your document to to ensure AI-readiness.

📌 Metadata ensures your knowledge is easy to search, categorize, and recall through Narratize's AI-powered workflows.

  1. Select the green "Review" button

  2. Verify and Edit Generated Metadata

    You'll see:

    • Tags: Identify what the document is (e.g., website article, research overview, executive presentation).

    • Topics: Indicate what the document is about.

    • Instructions: Provide context on when and how to use the document.

    • You can also add an optional expiration date if your document has a time-sensitive relevance.

    • 📅 Note: You can take your time to review and refine summaries, tags, topics, and instructions—or simply approve Narratize’s smart suggestions by continuing to the next step.

Step 3: Save Your Knowledge

Once everything looks good, it's time to save your reviewed document to the hub.

  1. Select "Save"

    This instantly saves your document with the updated Metadata to your selected hub.
